MANDATORY WEARING OF STAFF/STUDENT IDENTITY CARDS WITHIN THE UNIVERSITY PREMISES

It has come to the notice of the University Management that some members of staff [Teaching and Non-Teaching] as well as students are in the habit of not wearing the University produced identity cards within the premises.

Further to the recommendations of the Registry Management Committee on strategies that will ensure full compliance with the mandatory wearing of identity cards by staff and students, the University Management has advised all members of staff and students who are yet to have their identity cards to apply for same at the Staff Welfare Unit or Faculty as appropriate.

In addition, only staff and students with identity cards worn would have access to the University’s services and activities i.e. lectures, meetings, administrative services etc.
